Recent Survey Confirms Miami’s Position As A Global Leader in Real Estate Destinations
According to a recently completed survey, the Miami real estate market continues to to be a top destination for foreign buyers, despite the fact that Latin America and Western Europe have experienced economic slowdowns, according to the 2014 Miami International Buyer Survey conducted by the National Association of Realtors, which is the largest realtor association in the country.
Based on this report, it was also revealed that there are a lot more foreign buyers in Miami than in the rest of the country. In fact, a large percentage of Miami-Dade and Broward members work with international clients. This is as much as 72% while the national average stands at 28%. According to Christopher Zoller, a senior Coral Gables realtor and 2015 residential president of the Miami Association of Realtors, ‘International buyers have long been attracted to Miami’s world class art, beaches and amenities.’ Zoller also stated that, ‘South Florida’s proximity to Latin America and the Caribbean and our more than 1,000 multinational companies offer so many opportunities for foreign real estate consumers.’ Florida property management therefore get a lot of clients from Latin America and other regions such as North America and Europe. Some of the top countries from which consumers purchase properties include Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia.
