Florida Has Been Ranked The Second Best State For Business 2015

According to a new report done by Chief Executive Magazine, Florida has once again been ranked as the second best state in which to do business in the United States. This was based on a new report completed based on a survey in which 511 chief executive officers throughout the country were required to rate each states based on taxes and regulations, quality of the workplace and living environment. The chief executives cited a preference for pro-growth, and low tax states, as these were the best states that supported business growth.

According to Chief Executive, Florida was second to Texas, with North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia rounding out the top five. With industrial development growing in Florida, it is expected that the state will eventually overtake Texas and claim first place in the ranking. The report also stated that Florida experienced growth in construction payrolls and technology, and this is presumed to be the driving force behind the state’s continued growth and improvement. Florida property management companies have therefore predicted increased workloads and and increased clientele for the year 2015.

Meanwhile, California was voted as the worst state for business yet again. This is the tenth year in a row that the state has earned this title.
